This is our most common hunt. It does include full day wild bird hunt

A 24 hour period of time for one person including:

• Mounted trap throwers for practice. I furnish all the clays.

• The opportunity on the preserve to shoot up to 5 cocks a person per day.

The Biggins Deluxe Package Hunt: ............................  $880.00 per day

This includes everything in the above hunt plus all of your shells that you will need for trap house clay, quail and pheasant, all licenses necessary for quail and pheasant, also increased bag limit. This hunt will entitle you to 6 pheasants per day, with an unlimited number of quail (No Limit!). This package package will allow you to hunt all day, or at least as much as you want to hunt! It it all inclusive. All you have to do is arrive!

Not included: Sales Tax .05%, Gratuity

Pilots and Non-Shooting Guests.............................................$130.00 per day

Hunting Dates   Pheasant and Quail...................................Sept. 1 through March 31

        The regular state season runs from the third Saturday in October till December 30. The daily limit is three cock pheasants and possesion limit is fifteen. The hunting during this period is mostly on non-preserve land for the natural wild ringneck.
        I also do own and operate controlled shooting areas that are licensed by the South dakota Game Fish and Parks Commision. We can hunt pheasant and quail from September 1 to April 1 on our designated shooting areas. Because of our location in South Central South Dakota even the controlled shooting areas for pheasants are predominantly wild birds. Our main reason for controlled area is to extend our season and increase bag limit.

License Fee:

Non-resident license fee on controlled shooting areas for pheasant and quail - $65/5 day - $85.00/all year
Non-resident license fee not in controlled shooting area for pheasant and dove - $110.00

        A down payment of $600 per person, in advance will hold your reservation. The sooner we receive your down payment, the better chance you have of getting the days you want. We also do encourage you to arrive the day before your hunt so we can introduce you to your lodging, get your licenses, and have your evening meal.

Our prices are neither the highest nor the lowest. We feel our prices today reflect a premium quality hunt at a minimal rate because of what it takes to run our type of operation: Building and maintaining lodges, Offering specialized meals and Hors d' oeuvres, Maintaining staff(cooks, maids and guides) and offering fully guided hunts with well-trained dogs. Most importantly, our prices maintain the habitat and acreage that supports the best pheasant hunting you will find anywhere.

Winter Hunts:
All Winter Hunts, January 1 through March 31 are discounted 20% off the regular price.
